Reid Adler
PartnerReid Adler has been deeply involved in the life sciences sector for over 30 years. He is fascinated by the science of it, and enjoys helping entrepreneurial clients — both small and large — succeed in translating research results into beneficial health care and research products. He had the honor of clerking for Judge Giles S. Rich, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, who was the longest serving active U.S. judge and a major contributor to our patent law. Reid also was the founding director of the Office of Technology Transfer at the National Institutes of Health before returning to the private sector as a law firm partner and in-house counsel. He also teaches on-line graduate courses for the Johns Hopkins University master’s degree program in Biotechnology.
Richard S. Meyer
PartnerRich Meyer has been practicing more than 30 years, and focuses on strategic IP counseling, including technology agreements, IP due diligence, portfolio development and enforcement strategies, including post grant proceedings at the Patent Office. He particularly enjoys using his experience to help emerging growth companies bring important medical and pharmaceutical technologies to market. He currently serves as Chief IP Counsel to ImmunArray, Ltd, a personalized medicine based company focused in early diagnostic and therapy monitoring technologies in the auto-immune and traumatic brain injury spaces.
